Invest. Invite. Share.
From the time we’re children, we’re taught to share good things. It’s a generous and loving heart that doesn’t keep good things for itself. As Christ followers, we hold a remarkable gift we’re called to share with those around us. When we share what we have, we’re taking the chance to invest it into another person’s life. It’s risky. But the amazing return is worth the risk. A life changed by Christ is a beautiful thing to see. It brings hope to others and glory to God. Sharing can be as simple as inviting someone to a home group, a worship service or for coffee on a Saturday morning.
We’re called to share the truth of Christ’s love both to the world and in our own neighborhoods. Whether sharing on a mission trip in a place like Belize or investing in lives in a downtown women’s mission, or simply inviting that person you see at the gym every week to worship, there are so many ways to share God’s love. Sharing Christ is simple. We just share what He’s done in our lives and invite people to join us.
God had a perfect son, Jesus Christ, and generously shared Him with the world for our benefit. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” He gave Christ to us, so that we can share His love and mercy with others.
